Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Ob/Gyn) – Albuquerque, NM | 13-week travel contract. ARDMS OB/GYN & Fetal Echo required. Join our Women's Outreach team as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Travel Sonographer) supporting maternal-fetal imaging across New Mexico clinics in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $2,030 (competitive travel sonographer pay)
• Location: Albuquerque, NM (87106) – Albuquerque ultrasound job supporting regional outreach; access to Old Town, the arts scene, and Sandia Mountain recreation.
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – Travel sonographer position (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist)
• Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour days (5:15 AM – 7:00 PM), Monday–Friday
• Clinical Setting: Women's Outreach – Maternal Fetal Sonography, OB/GYN imaging, and Fetal Echocardiography
• Travel: Outreach clinics in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe (transportation provided; safe driving module required)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sonography experience, including travel sonographer experience preferred
• Certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN (RDMS), ARDMS Fetal Echo (FE) required; current BLS; valid New Mexico state license
• Experience performing Fetal Echocardiography and Maternal-Fetal Medicine imaging
• Proven ability to work independently in outreach settings without direct supervision
• Proficient with Cerner charting/EHR documentation
• Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of Albuquerque, NM
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
• Valid driver's license or written transportation plan required; completion of safe driving module prior to assignment
• First-time travel sonographers are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive women's imaging for pregnant patients, including low- and high-level OB imaging, Maternal-Fetal Medicine studies, and Fetal Echocardiography
• Operate and optimize GE E22, GE E10, and GE S10 ultrasound systems for diagnostic imaging
• Provide mobile/outreach ultrasound services at clinics in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe as scheduled
• Deliver excellent patient care and education in community and clinic settings as a key Women's Outreach team member
• Accurately complete and document imaging procedures and findings in Cerner/EHR
• Park and clock in/out at the Eubank Clinic in Albuquerque when on-site
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state requirements, and professional sonography standards
