Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Tech
• Certified and registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
• Diagnostic Imaging certification; proficiency with digital radiography (DR) and fluoroscopy preferred
• Cross-training in additional modalities (CT, MRI, portable/X-ray) as department policy requires
• Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
• Reliable transportation required (limited/no public transportation in rural Gunnison)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams (radiography and fluoroscopy) to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
• Position patients and set proper exposure factors following ALARA principles to ensure diagnostic quality and patient safety
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment and PACS software; assist with image post-processing
• Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast materials per protocol and assist with special procedures and examinations
• Assist radiologists and clinical team during procedures; maintain sterile technique and patient comfort
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and follow departmental protocols and safety guidelines
• Cross-train in additional modalities and adapt to a diversified technical workload as needed
