Job Details
- Location: Cambridge, MA 02139 (Boston metro area)
- Position: Travel Radiology Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- End Date: August 16, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Rotating shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) — must be flexible
- Weekend Availability: Required
- Call: Not required (available)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090 – $2,250
- On-site: In-person, Cambridge facility
Required Qualifications (Radiology Technologist)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (radiology tech)
- Active ARRT certification required at time of submission
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience imaging all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)
- Familiarity with OR procedures and C-arm/portable imaging
- Flu vaccine required during season
- EMR experience preferred: EPIC
- Cannot have worked permanently at any Cambridge facility
- Must submit up-to-date resume, two recent manager/supervisor references, and completed skills checklist
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging including inpatient/outpatient, orthopedic, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable studies
- Provide safe, high-quality imaging services with attention to radiation protection and patient care
- Adapt to multiple vendor systems and imaging equipment used across the Boston area facilities
- Float to other sites as needed (no more than one site per day)
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and equipment logs in the EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to meet department needs
