Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Interventional Technologist with ARRT certification and a valid MA Radiography License to support image-guided interventional procedures at a major academic medical center in Boston.
Details
- Large, high-volume Interventional Radiology division covering IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions
- Procedures include angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy
- No diagnostic CT is associated with this assignment — focus is entirely on CT-guided interventional procedures
- On-call required for procedures
- 11.5-hour shifts: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Charting via Epic EMR
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification required
- Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted); license required if applicable
- CT Licensure for MA required
- BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include operating all imaging equipment, sterile scrub, and case circulating in both radiology and OR settings
- Works collaboratively with nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and tech assistants in a multidisciplinary care model
- Timekeeping via UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public parking lots are available nearby at the candidate's expense, and public transportation is encouraged
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
