Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 2 years minimum experience required
• Call required: 1 to 2 call shifts during weeknights (Monday-Friday) and 3-24 hours weekend call shift per month
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT R
• If traveler has ARRT, MD State License is required
• Required skills: Interventional Cath, Cardiac Stent Placement, Scrub, Right & Left Heart catheterization, Rotablader, Thrombectomy, Stents, PCI, PTCA and Balloon Angioplasty
• Preferred skills: Cerner, Acute Monitoring, Room Circulator, ACIST, Watchman Procedures, Impella insertion, and (TAVI/TAVR)
• Ability to function in high-paced efficient environment
• Must be a team player
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census: 12-20 patients
• 36-hour orientation program
• Work with Phillips and Mac Lab equipment
• Special procedures include: Cardiac Cath Lab, Right and Left heart caths, Stents, Angioplasty, FFR, Rotablator, Rotablader, PFO closures, TAVR, Structural heart

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced interventional cardiology services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including Phillips and Mac Lab systems, and offers a full range of cardiac procedures from routine catheterizations to complex structural heart interventions. The department maintains high patient care standards with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
