Sevita is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead daily operations within our Transportation & Logistics department. In this role, you will oversee drivers, schedules, and routes supporting home- and community-based health services, ensuring safe, timely, and person-centered transportation for individuals with diverse needs. You will manage compliance with safety and healthcare regulations, coordinate with clinical teams, monitor vehicle readiness, and respond to incidents. Supervise daily transportation operations, routes, and schedules to support healthcare appointments and community activities.
Lead, train, and coach drivers to ensure safe, person-centered service.
Ensure compliance with safety, HIPAA, and transportation regulations and company policies.
Coordinate closely with clinical and program teams to align transportation with individual care needs.
Monitor vehicle readiness, inspections, and basic maintenance coordination.
Respond to and document incidents, service issues, and customer concerns.
Use transportation software/GPS tools to optimize routes and on-time performance.
Track and report key metrics such as on-time rates, service quality, and utilization.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of transportation staff.
