Description

Sevita is seeking a compassionate Transportation Driver to safely transport individuals to appointments, programs, and community activities. In this role, you will operate company or approved personal vehicles, follow scheduled routes, assist passengers with mobility needs, and ensure a respectful, person-centered experience. You’ll complete pre-trip inspections, maintain clean, safe vehicles, and document trips accurately. Safely transport individuals to and from appointments, programs, and community activities
Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic and weather conditions
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices as needed
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report any issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle interior and exterior
Accurately complete trip logs, mileage reports, and related documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and care teams
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols
Provide courteous, person-centered customer service to all passengers
Respond calmly and appropriately to delays, incidents, or emergencies
