Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs to inform tailored treatment plans.
- Create and deliver individualized therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
- Establish measurable therapeutic goals and monitor progress through regular evaluations and adjustments to treatment strategies.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms to provide remote counseling sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients facing mobility or transportation challenges.
- Document all client interactions and treatment plans meticulously, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and state regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will directly support a diverse array of clients, including those coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various life transitions. Qualifications
- Possession of a current and valid state license as LSCSW, LCSW, LCP, LCPC, LCMFT, or PsyD.
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Demonstrable and effective communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for a strong therapeutic alliance.
- Exemplify empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients of all backgrounds.
- Organizational skills and time management to maintain a balanced caseload efficiently.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a community health setting is advantageous, particularly with diverse client populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate modern counseling practices.
- Background in trauma-informed care to better support clients navigating complex psychological distress.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload. Benefits include:
