Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health, gathering detailed information to ascertain their individual needs and crafting tailored treatment plans accordingly.
- Conduct regular therapy sessions employing a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices to stimulate positive change.
- Facilitate teletherapy sessions, ensuring clients receive consistent and accessible care, particularly for those who may have transportation or mobility challenges.
- Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity, providing immediate support and resources for clients in urgent need.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the mental health industry.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records with minimal paperwork to allow greater focus on delivering quality therapeutic services.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on adult clients who present with a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other disorders. Qualifications
- A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
- A completed master's or doctoral degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology is essential.
- Exemplary communication abilities, paired with strong interpersonal skills, to establish rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- A compassionate and non-judgmental attitude toward diverse client backgrounds.
- Solid organizational and time-management capabilities to balance caseload demands while administering follow-up care and administrative tasks.
- A clean disciplinary record in accordance with licensing board regulations.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a private practice or community health setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with telehealth services and virtual care technologies.
- Experience working with various therapeutic modalities is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- The compensation package ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
