Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately understand clients' mental health concerns, informing the development of effective and individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address clients' specific issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed throughout the therapeutic relationship.
- Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual communication or have difficulties accessing in-person care, thereby ensuring continuous support and engagement.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, reflecting our unwavering commitment to professionalism and accountability.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including training workshops and peer supervision, aimed at enhancing clinical skills and staying current with best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- A current and valid mental health professional license in Maryland, such as LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing a supportive therapeutic environment and fostering a sense of safety for clients.
- Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental approach to understand and appreciate the diverse experiences and challenges faced by clients.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills conducive to effectively balancing caseload responsibilities and administrative duties.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, providing individual therapy to clients, preferably in a telehealth capacity.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client documentation and treatment planning.
- Experience with group therapy facilitation, crisis intervention techniques, and multi-disciplinary collaboration is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
