Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify each client's unique mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to encourage personal growth and recovery.
- Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients, regularly tracking their progress to ensure effective treatment.
- Deliver teletherapy services as needed to enhance accessibility for clients facing transportation or mobility barriers.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to uphold ethical standards and meet regulatory requirements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay informed about the latest methodologies and trends in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in building trust and rapport with clients, enabling them to experience authentic growth and healing while navigating their recovery journeys.
Qualifications
- A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster secure therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated capacity for empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' diverse experiences.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in providing teletherapy and using virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable.
- A background in trauma-informed care and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- Experience working with diverse populations and varying mental health challenges is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
