Position Overview

We Care Youth and Family Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to work in a fully remote telehealth setting. Work Environment

This role operates entirely in a remote telehealth setting, enabling flexibility and convenience in meeting clients' needs. Modern technological tools and platforms are utilized to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-ups via secure video conferencing. Such a setup not only allows for a balanced work-life integration but also ensures accessibility for clients who may have transportation issues or other barriers to traditional in-office visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies.
• Creating, implementing, and adjusting personalized treatment plans that align with clients' therapeutic goals, ensuring adaptability based on progress and client feedback.
• Facilitating individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the diverse challenges faced by clients.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure holistic client care and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in mental health counseling.
• Engaging in regular professional development through supervision, training workshops, and peer consultations to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults seeking support for a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction. Each counselor is equipped to handle complex cases and provide an empathetic ear along with professional guidance.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Maryland.
• A Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from a CACREP-accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy in clinical settings, with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, fostering a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate complex concepts clearly and provide client education.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and a client-first approach in every aspect of care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, including youth and families from varying socio-economic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices and the technological tools necessary for remote counseling.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives to enhance organizational presence and support for mental health awareness and education.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
