Description
The Home Healthcare (HH) Continuous Care Nurse Assistant International (NAI) coordinates with the analysis of patient care needs in order to provide comprehensive home healthcare services. Working under limited supervision for routine situations, this role handles patient care responsibilities, monitors vital signs, administers medications, and assists with activities of daily living.Essential Job Function
- Coordinates with the analysis ofpatient careneeds to ensure high-quality and personalized home healthcare services.
- Documents processes and procedures related to home healthcare activities to maintain accurate and comprehensivedocumentation.
- Processes recommendations for improvement or implementation to contribute to the enhancement of home healthcare services.
- Assists with various tasks within the home healthcare setting to provide valuable support and assistance to healthcare professionals.
- Maintains accuratedocumentationofpatient careactivities, keeping records and reports for reference and compliance purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: High school graduate or equivalent and completion of a state approved Nurse Aide 1 training
Experience
- Preferred: One year experience as a nursing assistant
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Successfully complete BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire date.Current good standing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry verified through DFS - have reliable transportation with adequate insurance as determined by the organization.Valid NC Driver's License and current automobile insurance
