Westminster Care Physical Therapist is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Red Bank, New Jersey. Work Environment
As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office in Red Bank, you will work onsite within a state-of-the-art facility that is designed to promote healing and recovery. Our location offers a welcoming atmosphere where you will interact with a diverse range of patients within a collaborative team setting. You have the flexibility to choose your hours between Monday and Friday, allowing for an optimal work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgical procedures to determine their specific needs and treatment goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the evaluation findings, utilizing techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Regularly document patient progress, treatment responses, and modify plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and caregivers, providing training in therapeutic exercises and the proper use of assistive devices as necessary for patient rehabilitation.
- Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional organizations, and reviewing the latest physical therapy research to maintain and enhance your technical knowledge.
- Actively track and evaluate patient improvements and adjust therapies to encourage maximum recovery potential.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient population includes children and adults facing a broad spectrum of physical challenges. Whether assisting in post-operative recovery, rehabilitating sports injuries, or helping patients manage chronic physical conditions, our therapists provide individualized care. You will play a pivotal role in empowering patients to achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current State License in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates who hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
- At least two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with proficiency in using word processing and various computer systems.
- A current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and preparedness.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of patients and the therapy environment.
Preferred Experience
While a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, candidates with a Bachelor's degree accompanied by significant experience are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with outpatient settings and prior experience working with diverse patient populations will enhance your candidacy.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
