Work Environment
This position is fully remote, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions from any location that suits your needs. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges and guide the development of effective treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing tailored techniques to support clients in their journey toward personal growth and emotional resilience.
- Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, consistently monitor their progress, and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Offer teletherapy services, ensuring accessibility for clients facing transportation challenges or health concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to uphold ethical standards and facilitate effective case management.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily support clients grappling with a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Our practice values a holistic approach, recognizing the unique narratives each client brings. By forming secure and trusting therapeutic relationships, you will empower clients to navigate their challenges and work towards sustainable recovery and mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of a trusting rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, facilitating efficient caseload management and fulfilling administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a clinical setting focusing on individual and group therapy is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be advantageous. Additionally, any experience in addiction treatment or trauma-informed care will enhance your suitability for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
