What You'll Do as a Day Program Professional
As a Day Program Professional, you will support individuals in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities, building skills, and promoting independence and community inclusion.
Daily Responsibilities
* Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming
* Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills
* Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals
* Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings
* Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided)
* Promote inclusion and positive community engagement
* Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely
* Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports
* Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings
* Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment

Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Valid driver's license.
* GED or High School Diploma
* Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented
* Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
