Work Environment
This full-time position will be conducted remotely, allowing you to work flexibly while collaborating with a supportive and professional team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to their needs.
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote personal growth, help clients process emotions, and develop coping strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and monitor their progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
- Provide teletherapy options to support clients who may face barriers related to transportation or mobility, ensuring accessibility to necessary mental health services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to track client progress and treatment effectiveness.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed on current mental health trends and methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. Your role is crucial in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, fostering resilience, and supporting their overall mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences, demonstrating a compassionate approach in all interactions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring effective management of your caseload and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and platforms to deliver effective remote therapy sessions.
- Specific training or experience in trauma-informed care or addiction recovery is a plus.
