Description
Location: Düsseldorf, GermanyJOB SUMMARY:
A Program Manager is assigned as the point of contact to support Textron Aviation's largest and most critical fleet(s). Responsible to optimize Operational Availability through aircraft reliability improvements and technical support. Coordinates with Fleet Programs Part Specialist to resolve critical parts issues and ensure parts are provisioned and available for maintenance events. Monitors and report fleet metrics.
Assists with solving critical fleet parts, technical, and warranty issues. Participates in daily maintenance meetings with the Customer's MX Control and Textron model technical teams as required; facilitates scheduled fleet conference calls and maintain associated RAIL's; and other duties as required to support the Customer/operator as assigned by the Director of Fleet Programs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act s as single point of contact for the customer. Interacts directly with Customer VPs, and Directors of Maintenance, Textron Service Center General Managers, and Maintenance Managers
• Drive s fleet Operational Availability through aircraft reliability improvements and maintenance planning
• Monitor fleet activity to plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance with the Customer/operator and Textron Service Facilities
• Coordinate part requirements for scheduled events and ensure timely delivery
• Communicate non-routine events and findings to Customer/Operator during scheduled maintenance events
• Monitor scheduled maintenance events through completion
• Work with the fleet operator on invoice disputes and warranty issues
• Coordinate regular scheduled Customer conference calls and associated RAIL's
• Communicate to resolve critical parts issues through Fleet Programs part specialists, and manage technical issues through Textron Aviation engineering and Technical Teams
• Analyze and trend maintenance discrepancies and to improve maintenance programs and aircraft reliability
• Provide feedback to engineering with respect to adequacy of engineering publications where revisions are necessary for continued product improvement
• Travel to the Textron Service Facilities to be on-site for maintenance events as required
• Visit fleet Customer/Operators as required to maintain strong business relationship and promote maintenance and sales opportunities
• Support the Director Fleet Programs
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree required in Business Management, Aviation, or other related field.
• EASA, A&P license or prior FAA repairman certificate preferred (6 to 8 years applicable experience accepted in leu of a degree)
• Minimum 5 years of relative program management, sales/customer facing, or aircraft maintenance experience is required. Aircraft maintenance experience is preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong command of MS Office Tools
• Cross-functional team work
• Must be confident working independently without daily supervision
• Ability to anticipate customer's needs and demonstrate dedication in meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
• Ability to communicate directly to the Customer at management levels
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage, prioritize, and anticipate customer needs both internal and external
